The musical composition of a twelve-year-old Jewish boy, Giorgio Levi, played last night in the Cremona Theatre, is highly praised today by all music critics in the Italian press.

The composition, which carries the title “Cantimistici,” was inspired by the Psalms which the Jewish boy has studied. The boy comes from an orthodox Jewish family.

The Order of Saints Maurizzio and Lazzaro was conferred today by the Italian government upon Leo Solschki, the most prominent Jew in Florence. Mr. Solschki was honored for his distinguished services as a publisher.
