A net surplus of more than $4,500,000 is expected by the Palestine Government this year according to its budget for 1935-36, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learned today.
The budget estimates the income for the year at #5,560,000 (approximately $27,800,000). The estimated expenditures for the year are only #4,620,000 (approximately $23,100,000).
At least $5,000,000 will be spent on public works this year, the report discloses.
