Police authorities throughout Rumania were today instructed by the Minister of Interior, Ion Inculet, to take the strictest measures for the preservation of law and order as a result of the recent anti-Semitic excesses in various parts of the country.
The order authorizes the police to take draconic measures against all persons disturbing the peace. It also forbids the wearing of uniforms and the display of badges by unauthorized persons.
The authorities are specially commanded to watch the activities of those organizations which conduct national confessional propaganda tending to incite to hatred against each other sections of the population on racial and religious grounds.
