Following the anti-Jewish disturbances at the University of Szeged, Rector Dr. Gabriel Ditroi has ordered the display in all lecture rooms of the Hungarian coat of arms with the double cross and the crown of St. Stefan.

The action conforms with the express demand by anti-Semitic students that the authorities give prominence to the Christian character of the university.
