The radio station at Bari, Italy, is broadcasting to Palestine Arabic reports defaming British troops and calculated to incite the Arabs, Alfred Short, Laborite, charged in the House of Commons today.
Colonial Secretary William Ormsby-Gore replied to the charge that there were no recent reports of defamatory broadcasts. He promised to inquire of the Palestine Government which is keeping a transcript of all such broadcasts.
