The United Press reported today from Hollywood that the Universal studio, whose pictures are banned in Germany, warned the American Olympic basketball team against using the name Universal during the coming games.

The team won the national title under the studio’s sponsorship and became America’s representative at the games. The Nazis were reported to have forced Universal out of the German film market because Carl Laemmle, its owner, was a “non-Aryan.”
