The Daily Telegraph reports today from Jerusalem that the ten-day ultimatum to High Commissioner Sir Arthur Granfell Wauchope by a meeting of 200 Transjordan Bedouin chiefs, threatening a march on Jerusalem of 100,000 Bedouin warriors unless Palestine Arab demands are granted, has expired.

The paper quotes Emir el Saleh, chief of the Zazawiya Bedouins, as saying the situation in the Transjordan is difficult and that he does not know what the tribes will do if the British Government refuses to agree to the demands.
