Colonial Secretary William Ormsby-Gore has received the unofficial Arab delegation headed by Jamal el Husseini, Palestine Arab leader and nephew of the Grand Mufti, it was learned today.
The audience, given yesterday, is understood to have been granted on request of the Arab leaders. It is authoritatively learned that no question of negotiations or formal discussions on the Palestine situation was involved in the meeting, since the delegation is unofficial and the meeting was likewise regarded.
The delegation is here to create favorable sentiment toward the Arab cause in the Holy Land and has conducted a wide tour of the country to that object.
