Moritz Neuman, Jewish philanthropist and religious leader, died early today in his eighty-third year. His widow, Mrs. Clara Neuman, four daughters and one son survive.
Mr. Neuman was vice-president of the Israel Orphan Asylum and president of the Congregation Ohab Zedek for twenty years and was its honorary president for the last ten years. He was a member of the Hungarian Society of New York and of the Independent Order of Brith Abraham.
