Nazi newspapers expressed satisfaction today over recent Italian newspaper attacks on the Jews, citing them as evidence that National Socialist racial principles were gaining ground abroad.

Two years ago, said Propaganda Minister Goebbels’ paper, Der Angriff, the Italian press ridiculed the racial theory as “blood madness” and teachings which none could take seriously.

At present, the editorial declared, Italy has taken up the theory by prohibiting Italians in Ethiopia from mixing with the natives and by having raised the question in the press.

Roberto Farinacci, editor of the Regime Fascista, recently attacked the Jews, charging that they were anti-Fascist.
