Germany and Italy were linked today to trouble in the Near East by the Daily Herald.

The Laborite daily charged in an article that Rome was fomenting trouble in Palestine and preventing reconciliation between Arab and Jew in order to embarrass Great Britain.

A Jerusalem report in the Herald stated that German agents had inspired the army revolt which unseated Iraq’s government in order to establish an anti-British government.
