Dr. Stephen S. Wise, president of the American Jewish Congress, has summoned New York Jewish organizations to an emergency conference on Jan. 31 “to present the case of the Jews in Poland and devise means of ending a situation which threatens the destruction of 3,500,000 Jews.”
