Further Nazi anti-Jewish restrictions, including the possibility of ghettos, were predicted last night by Leonard J. Montefiore, president of the Anglo-Jewish Association, speaking at “Friends’ House.”

“It is possible we shall see in Germany a physical ghetto as well as spiritual,” he said in a discussion of anti-Semitism in Europe. “The Jews there may be allowed to live only in a certain part of the towns, and certain industries may be entirely closed to Jews.”
