Three Jewish swimming stars suspended last Summer for refusing to join the Austrian team at the Olympic games in Berlin were reinstated today by the Austrian Athletic Union, effective in September.

The swimmers are Lucie Goldner, of the Hakoah Sports Club; Ruth Langer, 15-year-old swimming champion, and Judith Deutsch, 17 years old. Their refusal to participate in the events was in accordance with the decision of the Maccabi Sports Union, parent athletic body, to boycott the games in Germany.
