The fifteenth Congress of PEN Clubs, at its closing session yesterday, adopted a unanimous resolution strongly condemning anti-Jewish persecution and legislation in Central and Eastern European countries.

The congress urged its branches in various countries to combat anti-Semitism. The Polish delegates abstained from voting on the resolution. The resolution had been offered by the Jewish delegates to the congress.
