The twenty-fifth convention of the Zionist Organization of Canada last night petitioned the British Government to implement the absorptive capacity policy by immediately making possible a mass immigration of Jews into Palestine.

The 400 delegates, at the closing session of the two day meeting, called on Britain to formulate definitely her proposals for Palestine’s future to resolve the present crisis of fear and uncertainty.

The convention protested against anti-Semitic persecution and discrimination against minorities in Rumania, Poland and other European countries, and requested the Canadian Government to instruct its League of Nations delegate to invoke minorities treaties in their behalf. Action was also taken to encourage the sale of Palestinian products in Canada, especially citrus fruits.
