Bishop Urges British to Protest Cruelties to Jews in Coming Anglo-reich Talks

Download PDF for this date

In a letter published by The Times, the Bishop of Worcester urges that a protest against the “inhuman treatment” of Jews in Austria and Germany be registered by British spokesmen during the proposed Anglo-Reich talks. Vast numbers of Britons, the Bishop writes, would welcome some assurance that in the very forefront of the English program should be a “protest against the inhuman treatment that has been officially meted out to the Germans and Austrians of Jewish blood.”
