The noted Jewish brain specialist, Dr. Ignaz Oljenick, was reported here today to have treated for the second time the daughter of German Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop. As in the previous instance, in April 1937 when Herr von Ribbentrop was German Ambassador at London, the patient used a pseudonym, this time “Fraulein Schmidt,” to conceal the fact that the daughter of a high Nazi official was being treated by a Jewish physician.
Fraulein von Ribbentrop, who is 15, is suffering from a brain inflammation brought on by an injury sustained in an automobile accident in 1936. Dr. Oljenick, whose treatment last year is credited with having saved her life, is rated the greatest living brain specialist in Europe. He has resided in Amsterdam since 1917.
