The Liaison Committee of the League of Nations High Commission for German Refugees adopted a resolution today to ask the Evian Intergovernmental Refugee Committee to endeavor to obtain immediately immigration outlets for Jewish and other refugees from Germany without waiting for the outcome of negotiations with the German Government.

While this committee of private organizations was considering the refugee problem, the Political Commission of the League Assembly appointed a subcommission comprising the representatives of 18 countries to study the problem of Jewish and other refugees and to draft concrete recommendations for submission to the Assembly.

Meanwhile, the position of the Rumanian Jews was discussed by Dr. Nahum Goldmann, chairman of the World Jewish congress administrative committee, with Foreign Minister Nicolas Petrescu-Comnen.
