The current issue of The Jewish Farmer, published by the Jewish Agricultural Society, editorially appeals to Jewish farm communities to absorb as many refugees as they can as “a special duty not only toward farm-minded refugees, but toward American Jewry as a whole.” The editorial states that the society constantly receives calls from German and Austrian refugees seeking to be placed on farms and that it is anxious to expand its program of finding places for refugees.
