Palestine Jewry’s appreciation of action by the United States in behalf of the Jewish National Home was voiced today in cables dispatched to President Roosevelt by Chief Rabbis Isaac Herzog and Jacob Meir and the Agudath Israel. The chief rabbis declared: “Israel deeply appreciates America’s endeavor to protect the Jewish inalienable right to the Holy Land. God bless you from Zion.”
It was learned, meanwhile, that a delegation of leading Palestine Jewish personalities will soon leave for Europe and the United States to present the Jewish position in Palestine to the public.
