Arab Delegation Seeks Interview with Chamberlain

The Arab delegation sent by the recent Cairo Arab Congress to present a series of resolutions on the situation in Palestine hopes to be received by Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain before leaving London, Arab circles here said.

A movement is afoot for an international conference between representatives of the British Government and the Arab Near Eastern states, the diplomatic correspondent of the Daily Herald said. Certain delicate questions remain to be settled, he wrote, “but it is now the view of the British Government that the Palestine problem is not isolatable from the general problems of the middle east; that the neighboring Kingdoms have a special interest in the matter, and that it is both wise and right to consult them about any new settlement.”
