The Palestine chief rabbinate, it was learned here today, has succeeded in securing immigration permits for a total of 1,500 persons connected with the clergy in Germany, most of whom were being held in concentration camps there or in temporary shelters in England, France and Holland. The immigrants include 116 rabbis, 30 cantors, 100 yeshiva teachers and 150 yeshiva students.
