President Roosevelt announced today the receipt of a letter from Attorney General Frank Murphy stating that the Justice Department would investigate and possibly prosecute certain Nazi, Communist and other organizations for alleged violation of the criminal statutes as reported by the Dies Committee on Un-American Activities to the House this week.
