British Columbia Ready to Admit 10,000 Settlers

Settlement of 10,000 immigrant families in British Columbia has been endorsed by Provincial Premier Pattullo and the local boards of trade, it was disclosed today. Jewish organizations in London were reported to be prepared to advance $5,000 for each Jewish refugee included in the settlement plan.
