Bills designed to regulate Fascist, Communist, anti-racial and anti-religious groups, bar Fascists and Communists from Government employment and deport Fascist and Communist aliens have been introduced by Representative Martin Dies, chairman of the House Committee on un-American Activities. One bill would require registration with the Secretary of State of the various so-called un-American groups and the filing at stated intervals of information about the organizations and membership.
