A Zionist delegation has appealed to Foreign Minister Georges Bonnet for intercession with Britain against application of its decision on Palestine, on the ground that France was one of the guarantors of the Palestine mandate. At the same time, the French Zionist Organization sent a message of support to the Palestine Jewish community, and all pro-Palestine groups, including prominent non-Jews, issued a joint declaration condemning the British White Paper. It was planned to send a delegation to the British Ambassador in Paris.
