Nazi and Fascist penetration in the Argentine will be the subject of a thorough Congressional investigation, the New York Times reported yesterday in a dispatch from Buenos Aires.
The investigation was voted by the Chamber of Deputies after a debate lasting several weeks, during which it was charged that Nazi organizations were directly responsible for creating anti-Semitic feeling in Argentina where it had formerly been non-existent. The investigation will be conducted by the Committee on Constitutional Affairs, following which legislation directed against all subversive activities will be drafted.
