British Poale Zion Hits Entry Ban

A public meeting under the auspices of the Poale-Zion, labor Zionist organization, adopted a resolution last night strongly protesting the British ban on immigration to Palestine. Speakers included Berl Locker, Palestine labor leader, and Fred Watkins, Labor M.P. Moshe Shertok, head of the Jewish Agency’s political department, was scheduled to speak but was suddenly recalled to Palestine.
