The French Committee for Defense of Rights of Jews in Central and Eastern Europe, headed by Senator Justin Godart, is remaining in Paris and is occupied with evacuation of Jewish refugees and distribution of gas masks, according to Boris Gourevich, vice-president of the committee, who is in the United States on a mission for the organization.
