Morris C. Troper, European director of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, is in London conferring with Sir Herbert Emerson, Lord Readin and others with regard to the refugee question.

As a result of changed conditions, the German Jewish Aid Committee here has introduced important modifications in the system of refugee aid. In order to be able to assist financially as many refugees as require support, the committee is arranging for the billeting of many refugees dependent on it for support in a home maintained by the committee, instead of giving them fixed sums as in the past.
