‘austria Office’ Formed in London As Link to Anti-nazis in Vienna

An “Austria Office” was organized here today by refugee Socialists, Monarchists and other anti-Nazis for the purpose of establishing relations with anti-Nazis in Austria and spreading propaganda there.

Among those present was Sir George Franckenstein, former Austrian Minister to Great Britain but now a British subject.

“We are getting information out of Austria,” he said after the meeting. “I think there can be no doubt that the majority of the people in Austria are opposed to a Nazi regime.”
