A census of foreigners in Toulouse will be completed tomorrow by the local authorities who are requiring registrants to state their religion.
Important problems involving Jewish relief activity in France will be discussed at the first countrywide conference of Jewish relief bodies convoked for Oct. 30 and 31 at Toulouse by Chief Rabbi Issaye Schwartz.
Delegates of all important relief bodies have been invited to the conference. They will discuss the following principal problems: (1) reports on local relief activities;
(2) ways, means and methods of relief and the special requirements of the different Jewish groups; (3) plans for cooperation and mutual assistance among the various relief bodies; (4) the training of the staffs for social work.
