Jewish self-emancipation in Palestine is the antidote for the present plight of Jewry, Mrs. Isaac Herzog, wife of the Chief Rabbi of Palestine, told 200 persons at a reception given in her honor today by the Mizrachi Women’s organization of America at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. Other speakers were Mrs. Abraham Shapiro, president of Mizrachi Women; Mrs. Simcha Rabinowitz, Mrs. Isidore Freedman, Mrs. David de Sola Pool, Mrs. Edward Jacobs, Miss Sarah Feder and Miss Ethel Stavin.
