Jews Purged from French Legion of Honor

Beron Robert de Rothschild of Paris, who is now in the United States, as well as James de Rothschild of London and other members of the Rothschild family, have been stricken from the list of the Legion of Honor, it was reported here today.

Others eliminated from the Legion of Honor included Alexis Leger, former Under-secretary of Foreign Affairs, Pierrs Oct, General Catroux and the well-known journalists Pertinex and Henry de Kerillis, both of whom are now in the United States.

Henri Torres, famous French-Jewish lawyer who is also at present in the United States, was removed from the list of holders of military decorations. All had been previously deprived of French nationality.
