Jews in Brussels may not leave their homes between the hours of 8 P.M. and 7 A. M., under a new order issued by the German military commander of the city, it is reported in the Brusseler Zeitung, reaching here today. Traveling elsewhere than within the area of Brussels, Antwerp, Liege and Charleroi is also forbidden to Jews. These measures have been taken because “Jews have been abusing the liberty they have enjoyed,” the Nazi-controlled Belgian paper states.
