Palestine Jews feel that they have a stake in this war to the same extent as the British, the Czechs, the Poles or any of the other Allied nations, declared Barl Locker, Poale-Zionist leader today at a luncheon arranged by the British Poale-Zion Trade Union Club for representatives of the trade unions of the Allied nations.

Stating that the purpose of the gathering was to firstly, establish closer contact among the labor groups of the various countries in Nazi-occupied Europe and secondly, to acquaint the labor representatives with the problem of Palestine, Locker pointed out that Britain has some allies in the Middle East who stay neutral, while the Jews want to be allies, but are not accepted, or rather accepted but not wanted.” He stressed the fact that whenever a British war communique mentions Palestine soldiers, it should read Jewish soldiers, because of the 15,000 Palestine troops about 12,000 are Jewish.
