Wise, Goldmann Discuss Problems of Jews in Russia with Ambassador Litvinoff

Dr. Stephen S. Wise, President of the American Jewish Congress, and Dr. Nahum Goldmann, Chairman of the Administrative Committee of the World Jewish Congress, were received by the Soviet Ambassador to the United States, Maxim Litvinoff, it was made known today by the Congress.

Dr. Wise and Dr. Goldmann discussed with the Soviet Ambassador a number of questions relating to the refugee situation within the Soviet Union and a number of other important matters with respect to the Jewish community within the Soviet Union and the attitude of the Soviet Government to other vital Jewish problems.
