Attempting to justify their killing of Jewish war prisoners, the Nazis in a radio broadcast today from Berlin alleged that “Jewish units from Biro-Bidjan now fighting on the Crimean front are ignoring the rules of civilized warfare and shoot wounded Germans.”

The Nazi broadcast also asserted that Jewish guerillas are sniping at German soldiers. In the Minsk district Nazi military units are still being attacked by Jewish guerillas, the broadcaster said. He disclosed that a German regiment was recently engaged in a fight with the guerillas in the Minsk section, and that as a result of this battle “twenty-two guerillas were killed and sixteen Jews were executed in the city of Bobruisk for assisting the guerillas.”

The Moscow radio today reported that hundreds of bodies of frozen Jews who the Nazis drove to the Soviet front for compulsory labor are being found every day by the advancing Russian troops. The retreating Nazi soldiers are robbing the Jews of their clothes and leaving the bodies naked, the Soviet broadcast stated.
