The two Yiddish newspapers, “Folksblatt” and “Unzer Fraint” resumed publication here today following a decree issued by the Uruguayan Government modifying the ban on foreign-language newspapers, which had been proclaimed in January. The new decree authorizes the re-appearance of all foreign-language democratic publications and permits Yiddish radio broadcasts.
