Premier Von Kallay of Hungary has instructed the officials in charge of enforcing the anti-Jewish laws that the expropriation of all Jewish-owned land in the country must be completed by December 31, 1942, the Budapest newspaper Magyar Orslag, reaching here today, reports.

The paper also reports that the police arrested a number of owners and managers of industrial and commercial enterprises who employed more Jews than the law permits. Fines ranging from 250 to 6,000 pengos were imposed upon them by the court. At the same time a number of merchants were sentenced to terms ranging from four to six months on the same charge.
