Dr. Stephen S. Wise, president of the American Jewish Congress, left for the United States today after conferring with high Mexican Government officials and Jewish leaders on matters of Jewish interest.
At a press conference last night, Dr. Wise stated that he had been received by Foreign Secretary Padilla who, he said, was sympathetic to the proposed convention next spring or fall in Mexico City of the Inter-American Jewish Council.
