As a new project for the coming year, Canadian Zionists will launch a campaign for the redemption of 5,000 dunams of land in Palestine to settle the returned Jewish soldiers after the war, it was announced today.
The objective of the drive is $125,000 and the campaign will be officially launched in Montreal. During 1942 the Jewish National Fund Bureau in Canada raised nearly $100,000 for the Ussishkin Memorial Fund, it was also reported today.
