One-hundred and thirteen additional Czech Jews have been deprived of their citizenship and their property has been ordered confiscated this week by the Nazi authorities in Prague, it was reported in Czech newspapers reaching here today.

The Grenzbote, Nazi organ published in Slovakia, reports that the wife of a non-Jewish attorney and the local administrator of Jewish property in the town of Michalovce have been fined for agreeing to assume nominal ownership of Jewish property to prevent it from being “aryanized.”

Gardista, official organ of the Hlinka Guard, the Slovak storm troop organization, in its current issue, attacks those persons who demand “a greater feeling of charity among Slovaks,” charging that such “charity” is obviously on behalf of Jews. It admits that “there are still many people in Slovakia who are ready to believe that the Jews have been wronged.”
