The 34th annual convention of the Order Sons of Zion concluded its three-day session today with resolutions pledging individual and collective support to the U. S. Government in the prosecution of the war, asking the United States and Britain to save as many Jews as possible from Nazi Europe, and expressing its adherence to the Zionist program as expressed in the Biltmore Declaration which asked for the establishment of Palestine as a Jewish Commonwealth after the war.
The convention also expressed its support of the aims of the American Jewish Conference, asked for the annulment of the British White Paper under which Jewish immigration into Palestine must end next Spring, and sent a message of greetings to the Jews in Palestine. More than 400 delegates representing branches of the Order in twenty-five states, attended the convention. Harry A. Pine, Grand Master of the organization, and all other officers were re-elected.
