The general council of the League of Nations’ Union, meeting here today, adopted a resolution expressing deep concern at the lack of progress so far in rescuing the Jews in occupied Europe. It urged the Allied government to speed all possible rescue measures.
Several speakers addressing a special session of the council devoted to the Jewish problem, advanced the suggestion that the best solution was the creation of a Jewish national home in Palestine.
