Jews are no longer seen on the streets of Berlin, She correspondent of the Swedish newspaper Sydvenska Dagbladet reports today from the German capital.
Inquiring in official quarters why no persons wearing the yellow badge have been seen recently in the city, the correspondent was told that this was due chiefly to the fact that Jews keep indoors as much as possible, and also that they “have become more cheeky, and simply remove the Stars of David thinking that the authorities are too busy to supervise such details.”
The correspondent adds that the official explanations are not true. “When officials are drunk,” he reports, “one can hear from them the most gruesome revelations regarding the liquidation of the Jews.”
