The sale of over $10,000,000 in War Bonds by units of the Zionist Organization of America in the first week of its nation-wide War Bond Campaign was announced today in a report issued from the national Zionist headquarters here. Edmund I. Kaufmann, former president of the organization, heads its national War Effort Committee.

The original quote of $25,000,000 set by the Zionist Organization of America was boosted to $50,000,000, following the Allied invasion of Europe. Greater New York units of the Organization have set a quota of $10,000,000 of which $3,000,000 have already been raised. A quota of $5,000,000 has been adopted by Philadelphia and Chicago. Quotas in excess of $1,000,000 each have been set by Rhode Island, Ohio Valley, Dallas, Texas, and San Antonio Texas.
