Palestine Jews Take Active Steps to Cure Terroristic Activities

The Palestine Jewish community plans to combat terroristic activities “by practical deeds rather than further declarations,” Moshe Shertok, chief of the Jewish Agency’s political department, today assured a mass-meeting here.

An indication that this new policy has already gone into effect was the stationing of a large number of guards around the buildings of Jewish institutions. All visitors are required to state their business and name, and provide identification before being admitted.

The government announced today that the new High Commissioner, Viscount Gort, will arrive in the country on Tuesday.
