Robert R. Nathan, American economist and former head of the planning division of the War Production Board, has received a British visa and will soon leave for Palestine to make an economic survey of the country for the American Palestine Institute, it was learned here today.

Mr. Nathan has been planning to go to Palestine for several months, but, according to reliable reports, the British had refused to grant him a visa. His mission will be designed to explore the possibilities for new industrial development in Palestine and the capacity of the country to absorb increased population.
